Sesliye Gel is a team's own voice room. No ads, no analytics, and your data is not sold. This page explains what we keep and why.

What we keep

Your account

Your email, username, display name, account number, your over-18 declaration and its date, and language. If you choose: age, phone, profile photo and cover image. Your password is kept as a one-way hash; we cannot see it. If you turn on two-step verification, its key and a hash of your recovery codes stay on your account.

Team membership

The teams you belong to, your display name and number in each, and your roles.

What you write

Messages and images you post in rooms.

Orders and reports

Orders you place and your notes. If you report something, your report and a copy of the reported message at that moment.

Connection data

While signed in, your IP address, browser details and last seen time. Administrative actions are logged with an address. These exist for security and fixing faults.

What we do not keep

Your voice is not recorded: speech is relayed to the people in the room and written nowhere. We do not ask for ID numbers or birth dates. The strongest noise suppression runs on your device; your voice is not sent anywhere for it.

In your browser

We use a single required cookie for your session (Cookies). Settings such as volumes, noise suppression and language stay in your browser's local storage. No advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

• Account: until you delete it. Your account and profile images are then deleted; your name stays on messages you wrote, and you can delete those messages yourself. Backups may hold it for up to 30 more days.
• Messages: until you or someone permitted deletes them, or the room or team is deleted.
• Team: when a plan ends, 7 days of grace and then 30 days of retention. After that it is removed from the live system. What is kept for legal duties and how long: [awaiting legal review, 1-2 years at most].
• Session: up to 30 days.
• Backups: the nightly database backup stays on the server for 14 days, the encrypted copy for 30 days.

Who sees what

People in your team can see your display name for that team, your role, team number, photo and which room you are in. Your username and email are not shown to others. Other teams never see you; your number differs per team, so you cannot be matched across teams.

Messages in a voice room are seen by people in the room at that moment; only the team owner and people they permit read the history. Members read text room history, guests do not. Rooms an admin makes public are open to search engines and signed-out visitors.

Sesliye Gel staff do not see inside teams, with two exceptions: a copy of a reported message reaches us, and timed, logged access can be opened if needed, in which case the team owner is notified.

Who we share with

Data stays on our own server. We do not sell it or use it for ads or analytics. We give it to nobody unless the law requires it. Infrastructure we use for the service:

• Email service: your address is passed to it for verification and password emails (once enabled).
• Bot protection: if Cloudflare Turnstile is on, the sign-up screen connects to Cloudflare.
• Google Drive: only for the server's own backup, below.

Google Drive backup

Sesliye Gel does not ask users for a Google account and accesses nobody's Google data. Our only link to Google is the server storing its own backup in the administrator's Google Drive. The backup is encrypted on the server before it goes to Drive: file names and contents are encrypted, and nobody, Google included, can read them. The app can see only files it created in Drive and has no access to anything else there.

Age

Sesliye Gel is for people over 18 only. You declare this at sign-up. An account suspected of belonging to a minor can be reported and suspended.

Using your rights

On the My account page you can change your details, download your data and delete your account. See the data notice or write to us.
